Oscar Awards Celebrity Beauty Roundup

Well what a day, the night of nights was today if ya hadn't heard. The 83rd Annual Academy Awards aka the Oscars has now finished and it is these Red Carpet awards that gives us the trends that we will be looking towards for the next year. These awards are the crème de la crème. There were so many beautiful looks so I have chosen a few to discuss today and a few tools to help you recreate these looks.

Before I get into beauty I have to mention Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey misses’, of all the red carpet looks her dress is just divine, she wore Kaufman Franco dress and just everything about it just screams classic elegance. What do you think? With a dress so stunning Camila was right on the money by choosing classic, simple accessories and a simple up-do. Camila's other accessory Matthew McConaughey isn't too shabby either!

Ok now back to beauty...

The first beauty look I want to discuss is Reese Witherspoon. Amongst all the updo’s to see a cute high ponytail with a nod to the 70’s is spot on trend. If you have been following my blog you would know that the 70’s is such a huge trend which will be continuing all through the year. I love that she has added volume to the top part of her hair; I imagine there was some backcombing happening to achieve that height. Her brows are perfectly groomed and are the perfect shade to suite her skin tone and hair colour. Reeses skin is luminous and her natural skin shines through. Her eye makeup is fantastic and is the true stand out item here, following through with the 70’s look she has gone for simple thick black liquid eyeliner which is my staple look as it never fails to impress. I think the important consideration when working out a red carpet look is to work out one focus feature and that’s it. Reeses focal feature is her eyes and everything else is subtle and not over powering.

I have just started using the Smashbox Cream Eyeliner in Caviar which is a true jet black-$32.95. To really get a thicker line I always use a brush, mine is Napoleon 2h. This pigment is strong and lasts all night. I have been using my Rimmel one for so long I forgot how much I love painting on eyeliner, there is something so retro about it.

The next celeb hottie I want to talk about is Mandy Moore. The newly married lass is looking gorgeous and continues on the luminous skin brigade everyone seems to be on these days. What I love most about her look is her gorgeous orange lipstick. Many Moore must have been reading my blog to know how hot the orange lip is right now. To recreate this look yourself I love the Innoxa orange lipstick called sunset-$14.95 as it has a great matt finish which lasts really well. The only part of this look I am a little disappointed with is I feel her hair is pulled back a little too tightly and I would have loved to see more texture in her ‘do.

Black Swan hottie Mila Kunis turned up the heat and had heads spinning with this sultry look. Her hair do with the subtle wave looks so vintage that I love it, it just says elegance, with her floaty, lacey, purple dress they are paired up wonderfully. Her eyes are just wonderful here and to achieve this look you need to line all around the entire eye, lower and upper eyelids with a black Kohl pencil. Her eyelids look like they are shaded in with a soft brown eyeshadow which really makes her eyes pop. The rest of her face is kept so simple with soft pink lips and a soft pink blush on the apples of her cheeks.
Well that is about all I have in me guys, I hope you enjoyed watching the red carpet action just as much as I did. I would love to hear from you, who did you think rocked it on the red carpet? Who did you think was a miss?

My Birthday Looks and I created them!

I have been lucky enough this year to have multiple birthday celebrations and this has meant many fun looks to play around with! I thought I would share my Birthday journey and what products I use a long the way.
My man and I- au natural

When we went away the weekend of my birthday we went out to a restaurant called Rock Lobster, seriously if you ever go to Nelson Bay you gotta try it! So I got all dressed up for our night out.

Me on my birthday night
I really made a point to illuminate my skin to refresh your memory on exactly where to illuminate you should check out my popular blog post here. I kept my lips uncoloured as I was in for a big night of eating as you can see from below...
I am a happy, happy woman here!
To create this look I lined my eyes with my old faithful liquid eyeliner I have had for so long the Rimmel Professional Liquid Eyeliner-$11.95. This always delivers a great, strong line which I can make really thin if I need to or thicker for a more dramatic look.
When I need a thicker foundation I have been using a cheapie one for ages actually and I will actually invest in a nicer one soon but right now I am using another Rimmel LONDON product which is their Rimmel LONDON Lasting Finish 16 hour Mineral-Enriched Foundation-$17.95. Quite a mouthful I know but it is nice and thick and really lasts.
This foundation really does last well so paired with a good primer I can party all night and still look great. Back to what I was saying...

For my actual Birthday Party the week after I wanted to go all out Glam. Here is the end result...
To achieve this look as I was not quite as tanned as I had hoped I sprayed on Model Co Bronze Airbrush Sun- $28 which is my go-to quick tan. It is just a bronze rather than a lasting tan and it also has a shimmer. I use this only for my face/arms/chest and it gives me a nice glow and develops within 20mins.

For my legs I sprayed on some Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs-$24.95. If you haven't tried this kind of product before, gosh its divine its practically foundation for your legs, yes it tans you but it also covers imperfections. The other point and I know this is something I don't know if people talk about is that when you shave your legs you cannot tan straight away, if you do the tan seeps into the fresh holes in your skin and god it is not pretty! This product will not do that... so with nice smooth legs I applied this tan to make my legs nice and bronzed.

Next is onto my skin, I filled in my brows and made sure they were perfectly groomed and contoured my cheeks with my bronzer and applied blush to the apples of my cheeks. As I was wearing Gold jewellery I went for a gold eyeshadow. See close up here...

Using my liquid eyeliner again with a gold NARS eyeshadow to coat my eyes which I blended up to the crease in my eyelids. Then I applied creamy silvery eyeshadown just under my arch to acentuate the arch of my brows.

To get my hair curled like that I used my favourite hair curling tool the Remington Tribal Tong-$53.95. I don't know about you guys but me, like many others other out there are just hopeless when it comes to curling my hair with my GHD. That is where this baby comes in. Not only is it so cheap, but it heaps up so fast and it is so easy.

All you do is pop on the glove they give you and with the opposite (ungloved hand) you hold the tong upside down so the cone is thickest at the top. You just wind a section of hair down the conical and hold for 10 seconds and then lift the curler out. Then repeat, just a tip though, for god's sake do not forget to change the glove over when you change sides... I made that mistake and ow... Let me tell you that it's hot! You can also adjust the temperature if you have thicker hair or finer hair. My hair for example only needs 180 degrees.

Once I had my hair curled I gently seperated the curls for a more "brushed out look" rather than a "tight" curl look. I kept my hair with a centre part as well. I then sprayed my hair with a light hold hairspray and then I was ready to go! Seriously you guys gotta get one of these!!

So that is just about it guys, I hope you got a lot out of this! I had an absolutely wonderful birthday and I wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes!

Let me know if there are any other products you would like me to mention as this was a workout in itself! But God I feel good after it! :)

A gradual tanner that actually tans- Sunfx Summer's Secrets Review

I have a confession to make...Me, who ordinarily loves my fake tans has been slacking off lately. I think because of my relocation to the beach it means I have been outdoors a lot more and actually have a slight bronzed natural skin tone. I was recently given a bottle of Sunfx Summer's Secrets which is their gradual tanner. Now I don't know about you guys but I have knows about Sunfx professional spray tans for ages but I didn't know they had a at home version, bring it on.

I have used many gradual tanners in my time, and I have found them to be really hit and miss. As I have really pale skin with no hint of olive in there (blame the English and Irish in me) it means on my skin a lot of gradual tanners look orange and I feel like the first couple of days there is no change to my skin colour and then BAM I am orange...
With Summer's Secret it was different. It has a white consistency of the cream and is really moisturising.

When I awoke the next morning I was shocked that I could actually notice the tan is was just gentler and more subtle then a full on tan. The rest is pretty much history, I would apply for 2 days in a row then be right for the rest of the week. If you get a professional spray tan this is the perfect pairing to extend your tan.

You can find this product: at salons across the country or visit their website for their salon locator

The price of this product: $29.95 and I get a lot of uses out of one bottle.

Update: How I worked the DKNY look LOTD

This morning I posted a blog about 2 keys looks from New York Fashion Week which you can view here
I decided to work this look this morning, with a well groomed brow, lined my eyes with a black kohl eyeliner.
I kept my foundation at bay today and just went for a tinted moisturiser with a SPF and applied concealer to the areas where I needed coverage. It is all about letting your natural skin come through.
I then just lightly applied a musk lipstick onto the middle part of my top and bottom lip to give just a light amount of colour. The Lipstick I used (as I just got asked and realised I completely forgot D'oh) it's Innoxa Baby Doll, I have blogged before about their amazing collection so click the link to check it out.
I have just started using Smashbox O-Glow for Blush which is working amazingly well, I will be doing a full review of soon so stay tuned.

What do you think of my look?

NYFW Key Looks and How to get them!

New York Fashion Week (or NYFW as us beauty fanatics call it) is like seeing into the future in the world of beauty and fashion trends for Autumn/ Winter in a years time. I'm not here to talk about the fashion otherwise I could be here all week. Being a beauty blog ya know what I'm all about. It is to these looks that we know what colour nails we will be wanting to wear (think about how big light blue nails became) or what looks we are going for with makeup, like the peach trend right now, this is where all the mags get their inspiration from as do I.

There are 2 shows I want to talk about in particular both extremely different from each other and I have the inside scoop how you can recreate theses hair looks.

The First look came from DKNY and is all about Perect Imperfection, isn't she gorgeous. It is also a huge tip that the 60'w-70's are going to be huge... umm again...

There are so many things I love about this look. Before I even get to the gorgeous hair. First of which is the glorious, clear and natural skin. The other thing is that you can actually see her skin. I hate when the whole face is covered in such a thick layer of makeup, it isn't good for your skin. Her eyes are just simply lined with a black eyeliner. She has a light pink blush and a musk pink lip colour on her lips.

The look like so many are inspired by the 70's. Eugene Souleiman,Global Creative Director for Wella Professionals explains;

“I wanted to create a look that started off with the perfect blow dry but then evolved to a more thoughtful, contemporary finish.  I was inspired by the classic ‘Rock Star’s Girlfriend’ look of the late ‘60s, a look that is still much coveted today, as it is the perfect combination of sexiness and class.  For me, it’s all about creating the perfect look and then bringing in imperfection, in this look we’ve done that by adding texture for a raw, sexy, ‘lived in’ look”.

Wanna create this look yourself?

You need to start by creating a perfect blow dry using a big round brush. Create a side part and section off hair around the crown of the head. Divide the crown section into two and wind each section round a large Velcro roller and clip in place; this will give direction and create a little volume.  Leave the Velcro rollers in for at least 15 minutes.  To finish the style, remove the rollers and spray Wella Professionals High Hair Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray into the hair, blast the hair with a blow dryer to dry the spray, and then massage the crown of the head with your fingers to create texture and fly aways.

The second look comes from Jeremy Scott and is all about colour and being out there. Now I know this may seem wild but bear with me, there is a lot we can learn.

Firstly again the models skin actually comes through, complete with those adorable freckles.  The lips have been similar to the above DKNY look of the musk lips, that is a winner there. The next thing I really notice from this look (apart from the obvious bright makeup and hair) is the inner eye is lined with white pencil, this really brightens up the eye and is a sneaky trick to make you look more awake. Now I know the eyes are crazy bold with colour which for, well lets not kid ourselves, for most people it isn't wearable. When you look at these runway looks sometimes it isn't about copying the exact look but taking elements from this look and figuring out who you can work it.

For example from this look I got:

-Musk lips are a hot
-Lining the inner rim of my eye will make me look way away when I have had a few too many the night before
-Experiment with colour, gone are the days of just wearing a nude coloured eyeshadow, have fun with it.

To recreate the Hair Look Eugene Souleiman,Global Creative Director from Wella Professionals explains:

The hair look for the AW ’11 Jeremy Scott show in New York was typically dramatic and celebrated the brighter side of life.   This playful look was reminiscent of how young girls like to wear their hair; playing with colour and ponytails.   Jeremy Scott always offers a unique, creative and fun approach to fashion and his AW ’11 collection was no exception.   The inspiration behind both the fashion and the hair look was the early ‘90s club scene, when club kids would dress up and create incredible and brilliant fantasy characters for a night out on the town.

“I wanted the hair look to have a strong, beautiful silhouette, yet at the same time have a fun twist to it.  By adding hair pieces in bright contrasting colours, I was able to keep the look youthful and humorous.  I always love working with Jeremy as his clothes take an illustrative view of life where the world is three dimensional and quirky,  and this is how I treat the hair look – like creating a fun piece of art” says Eugene Souleiman Global Creative Director Wella Professionals.

The final hair look was a fantastic and crazy blend of larger than life characters; the Spice Girls, My Little Pony and Japanese animated characters, which added a refreshing boost of colour, excitement and fantasy to the AW ’11 New York catwalks.

Wanna create this yourself?

Start with clean, beautifully conditioned hair and smooth in Wella Professionals High Hair Sleek Wonder to prepare the hair.  Using a tail comb, mark out an exaggerated zigzag parting hair from the front of the head to the nape of the neck.  Spray on Wella Professionals High Hair Finishing Spray very close to the hair, brush through and blow dry hair into two very high ponytails each side of the head.  Next bind the ponytails at the scalp so that they stand up slightly off the head.  Using Wella Professionals High Hair Flat Iron Spray, straighten both ponytails until smooth then weave in vibrant, rainbow-bright hair extensions to each ponytail.

So next time you look at runway model images, really look at them for the colours and styles that will be influencing your looks in the future to come.

Jennifer Anniston has cut her hair- yes the bob/ lob is here to stay

There has been countless celebs all joining the lob bandwagon. Long gone and their er... long locks... Jennifer Anniston is the latest celeb to join the club.

I know that the decision to cut of your hair is incredibly personal. It usually stems from a deep need for a change, I know that may sounds obvious but think about it. When you have a bad breakup and you want a change and to move on so often your hair is the first way to go to update your look for the new you and you know, good on you.

The lob seems to be popping up everywhere and shows no sign of slowing down. Personally I did this length hair ages ago and for me having really, really long healthy hair is something I have never had so this is what I am working on. (I am aiming for Kardashian hair... )

Below is the lovely Mss Anniston looking hot to trot in her new look. Her hair also seems a little lighter then usual. She has some light layers around the front of her face.

I think this look makes her look younger and more fresh and it is so much more modern and different, thank god from her traditional look.

If you want to make the change, now is the perfect time as this is seriously the "in" cut.

Watch this space!

Valentines Day Look-Review Maybelline Lipstick

I know it was a little while ago but I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day. I know there are many sceptics out there but I am a romantic and really had a wonderful night.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely time, he surprised me with roses and then after buying me a really nice bottle of champagne we walked down to a lovely restaurant by the beach.

I wanted to look extra special as this was a romantic occasion. To create this look I used my new Maybelline Are You Red-dy? Lipstick.

This colour is the perfect Valentines Day Red. The Packaging is so sleek and just screams expensive. When I applied it as I knew there would be some kissin (hehe) I rub it into my lips to create a stain. I can still get a deep colour from applying it this way AND I find it lasts so much longer.

Here is the finishing product...

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day!!

This lipstick is available at Priceline and many other selected stores.

Always good when you want that classic romantic red lip!

Burt's Bees gets a makeover!

I love, love, love Burt's Bees. They are a good, natural skin care brand, simple as that. I have been a fan of their Naturally Nourishing Milk and Honey Body Lotion for a long time now, bottles worth in fact. Now it is with my great pleasure to introduce the new and improved Naturally Nourishing Milk and Honey Body Lotion-$19.95.

I loved this lotion anyway so when I was told they were revamping it I was so excited! I compared the 2 lotions apart from different packaging at first the differences were subtle.
The one difference I did really notice in the change in formular is that this new cream is thicker and absorbs better into the skin then ever before. It still has that delicious scent of honey which makes me constantly want to smell my arms yummo... The vitamin E, coconut and grapeseed oil mean that my skin stays hydrated all night long.

I will always love the fact that this moisturiser is 99% natural with no Sulfates, Parabeens or Petrochemicals, sweet!

So treat yourself and your body.

With Burt's Bees now being available in Priceline along with David Jones and selected Pharmacies it is so easy to get your hands on.

The 5 most popular items from miss chew!

Happy Friday everyone! I thought I would do something a little fun today. I use Google Analytics on my blog and I have been noticing trends of items which really prick your attention so I thought I would share.
The first of which was Antipodes, this amazing brand delivers fantastic results to view my past blogs on Antipodes you can go view here and here.
The next very popular post was my post about the new Benefit Full Finish Lipstick in Pillow Talk, still the most hydrating lipstick I have used and I still use it all the time.

Next on my list of popular items is the amazing Omnilux treatment facial, have you had yours yet? Whoever would have thought light on your face would be so amazing for you. With my skin being rather congested at the moment I know a good series of treatments with the blue light would do wonders for me right now.

Fourth on my list is the unlikely candidate of Maybelline 24 hour Foundation which I found as a beautiful formular which really lasts well in the day. If you are after a foundation which can be bought at Priceline or your local supermarket or chemist then this is a great option.
Lastly on my most popular searched items is the wonderful Clarisonic, my goodness if you haven't got one yet then save your pennies as it is well worth it and really keeps my skin in check. It also makes me cleanse my skin for the recommended 2 minutes. I know that when I manual cleanse like manually brush my teeth I can be terrible at keeping to the time that you should to maximise the clean, this way you never need to worry about it.

Have you used any of these products? These are all favourites of mine. I love looking at my stats and finding out just what you, my lovely readers think and what tickles your fancy. Thank you for all your support guys, it really means a lot to me.

So what are your favourite products?

Glam Nails in a instant- Thanks Sally Hansen!

With last weekend being my birthday and I went away for a lovely weekend (thanks for asking) and this Friday night is my birthday drinks so I want to get a bit jizzed up so I applied the new Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips-$15 which are stick on.
I went for the pattern which is actually a subtle gold with a black almost fishnet pattern. I think it is incredibly funky, perfect for a night out.
The are so easy to apply.
Firstly I made sure my nails were all the same length and short.
Then with clean, dry, nails with no polish on them you find a size which is the same width of your nail. The also recommend you push down your cuticles as well.
Then you peel off each side of the adhesive and stick it on your nail and then smooth it down.
Then you use one edge of the nail file to sand away the excess sticker for a clean finish.
Here is the work in progress:

The finishing product...
I think they look fantastic! They feel really nice on and I think the metallic colour is subtle enough for me to wear to work as well.

It is really refreshing not to have to worry about chipping of the colour and then when you are ready they just peel off.

You can find Sally Hansen Products: at KMart, Target, Big W, Priceline, Price Attack, Myer, David Jones, Woolworths and pharmacies.

Short & Sweet-How to Exfoliate Your Face

I know that like most beauty obsessed chicks out there we will tell you it is so important to exfoliate but do you know how and where?
I learnt through a recent Face Mapping Analysis with Dermalogica that the skin on my cheeks is a lot more sensitive then the rest of my face.
When you are exfoliating your face you need to let the product work its magic rather then rubbing it in so hard with elbow grease! Rubbing so hard will damage the soft layers on your face, I know in the past this is something I have been known to do. The product is designed with its little beads or chemicals to get rid of dead skin cells on the surface of your skin without you needing to go nuts with it.
When you are exfoliating focus your energies on your t-zone and your mouth and chin area.
I ever, ever so gently glide the product over my chest when I am in the shower just to maintain a clear, clean chest.
I try and exfoliate once a week, twice a week if my skin is particularily bad, you just need to have that continual turnover of new skin cells.

I hope this helps.

What exfoliator do you use?

Oil on your face doesn't need to be a bad thing!

Listen up ladies, as I have a few very important messages in this blog post. Firstly not all oil is a bad thing that should be shun away at like the sun.
The oil I am talking about is Dermalogica Precleanse-$65.50. This oil is applied to dry skin on top of your makeup and will get even the thickest most stubborn makeup off, including eye makeup! Once you have rubbed it in, wet your fingers and then it becomes milky and you continue to work it into your face, then you wash it off your face.
When I apply it onto my face I realise I recognise the smell, it smells like lavender and smells like well, relaxation. I realise I recognise this smell from facials I have had in the past, this is what the beauticians use! This is just what I need!
When you have had a big day with lots of make up on as I often do I often have a primer plus foundation, concealer and more, on the weekends I have suncreen on which is thick and it is so important to get it all off. If you don't you get blocked, congested pored which leads to pimples, yuck!
For these times especially it is so important to double cleanse and this is the bottle which will ensure you get the cleanest skin.
It contains olive oil which hydrates your skin and apricot kernel which surprisingly soothes irritation which at the end of the long day I find my skin really needs nourishing. Lastly, Vitamin E oil is a great antioxidant and improves the skin surface condition.

Once you learn how great double cleansing is and this amazing PreCleanse product you won't look back, it relaxes you, cleans your skin and helps to maintain your beautiful complexion.

You can find Dermalogica: at David Jones and Salons Nationally.

This product is an asset to any beauty routine.

Join the FITE and help a women become an entrapeneur!

We are women hear us roar! I think a lot of us forget this song and forget this message. We may think that we live in an equal world, but sadly we don't. Last week I joined the FITE.

"The FITE I am referring to is a global empowerment platform powered by Kiva.org, the nonprofit leader in microfinance, that is designed to foster Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship for women in the developing world.
Dermalogica, the world’s preeminent professional skin care brand, is the founding partner for FITE, and has invested all the research and development to make FITE possible. From supporting creation of the platform, to being the first partner to create a retail connection with its FITE products, to rallying its tribe of over 100,000 successful women entrepreneurs worldwide to join FITE, Dermalogica has helped make the vision of FITE a reality".

Sound great doesn't it! Bascially in a nut shell to get involved with this great campaign all you need to do is purchase one of the Dermalogica products with the FITE logo these include:

-Daily Microfoliant (which I got and will review soon)
-Precleanse
-Skin Hydrating Booster
-Total Eye Care
-Intensive Eye Repair

Once you buy one you peel off the label and hop onto the FITE website http://www.joinfite.org/ money from the sale of your product will be donated by Dermalogica to a women in a underdeveloped country to help fund her business. The best bit about this is you choose in what country, even city to help a women and also what type of business. I chose Africa and a retail store. Then a week later you receive a email from FITE letting you know who they have chosen. You can then follow their journey as they set up their business

Check out this video for more information:

A week later FITE email you with the women they have chosen to donate the money to and a bit about her and her business.

This is the information I was sent:

The entrepreneur funded is Siyazama Group
Lindiwe Gloria Thethwayo is 54 years and married with six children between the ages of 10 and 28. Two of them attend school. She runs a tuck shop (a small convenience store) in Mtubatuba in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. She has been in the business for three years and she operates her business at her house. She also earns income from the government child support grant. She says that the main challenges to her business are clients who do not pay on time. She requested this loan through WDB and Kiva to buy more stock like cold drinks, sugar and other goods. She adds that the extra income from this loan will help her buy furniture for her home. In the future she would like to extend her shop. Lindiwe is pictured on the right raising her right hand.

And this is her family, Lindiwe right.

From now I will be able to track her progress and donate more money which she will pay you back as her business grows.

I just love this concept rather then just donating to a charity which may be great but you don't know where the money is going. This way you are buying a product you may buy anyway but you are donating to a great cause.

If you have any questions about how this works, let me know.

I encourage all of you that when you go to buy your next product you keep an eye out for Dermalogica FITE products.

A bra with a memory? Get out of town!

People that have met me may have noticed I have rather large kahoonas, they have been that way for all my adult life and have caused me issues, ill fitting clothes, back aches and unfortunatley the laws of gravity have meant my bosoms are starting to head south for Winter and I don't know if they are ever coming back naturally. The search for a comfy bra that could hold my girls well is something I am always on the hunt for.
When I was told about the Lisca Smart Memory Bra-$74.95 I was curious. Memory, what on earth do you mean it has a memory?
When I tried on the bra (see the pic of me to your left, ha! I kid, I kid, but I will get there one day with Weight Watchers help!) I was immediately drawn to the level of comfort. It has these sections at the bottom of the cup which are like little pads, now this is where the magic happens.

The foam that is in the bra was developed by NASA in the 1960's to protect astronauts from the forces of gravity, see where I am going with this? The foam in the bra is memory foam which takes the shape of what it is placed on (like your bosoms) and softens and expands with body temperature which boosts your boobies giving you hot to trot cleavage, as your body temperature rises so will your cleavage, now that's smart!

What is important to keep in mind is it shapes to YOU, no one else but you, giving you the most comfortable bra yet.

The bra is available in Black and Red and in sizes 10-18 A-D cup. I am a 14 D and so many push up bras either look ridiculous on me or just don't fit me properly, this both fits me well and looks great on. The thin straps means I can wear it with a singlet or a tshirt/dress.

You can buy the bra online at http://www.smartmemorybra.com.au/
Check out the website to find out why it is selling out like hotcakes!!

I love it and I know you will too.

The coolest nail polish I have ever seen...

I know this is a big call as I really love my nail polishes. But as soon as I saw pictures of OPI Black Shatter, it was love at first sight. I am talking, head over heels, gooey, love sick puppy eyes love! I first saw this beauty swatched on The Nail File and I knew I had to have it. It hit our shelved Mid January and since then has been selling out like hot cakes, if you haven't gotten it yet then run, and search high and low, possibly on e-bay as it won't be around for much longer. When I used it I applied Orly Luxe which is a cross between silver and gold and once it was dried then applied the Black Shatter. I thought the end result seemed very leopard print and I got so many compliments!! It dries super fast so you need to work quickly. I like to think of it like choc magic that you put on your icecream, comes out liquid and dries so quickly once out of the bottle. What to keep in mind with Black Shatter is that the thicker you apply it the bigger the cracks, I also found you only need one layer so either  make that layer thick on thin, don't go over it. I like the look of the bigger cracks check out my pic below. The cracks begin within seconds of applying it and the whole nail polish dries so quick.
I applied a top coat over it just to seal it all in.

Your best bet to find Black Shatter is at David Jones stores.
Price $19.95.

I will be going through this bottle of nail polish faster than any other!

Hope you are able to get your hands on a bottle!
